Album Notes & Community Reviews
John Coltrane's final drummer operates his own independent Survival label to release this fiery, uncompromising post-bop and free jazz session. The intensely polyrhythmic, high-velocity acoustic improvisations underscore his reputation as a vital architect of the 1970s New York loft jazz movement.
