Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a shift toward a heavier, more aggressive sound, the Cleveland quartet's third studio effort incorporates gritty guitar riffs while maintaining their signature British Invasion-inspired vocal harmonies. Produced by Jimmy Ienner, the record aggressively bridges the gap between AM radio pop hooks and hard-driving arena rock. Its raw energy significantly influenced the emerging punk and alternative scenes of the late 1970s.
