Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by Warren DeMartini's slick guitar heroics and the massive hit single 'Round and Round', 'Out of the Cellar' helped trigger the commercial explosion of the Sunset Strip glam metal scene. The album perfectly balances gritty heavy metal riffing with highly polished, pop-oriented vocal hooks. It quickly achieved multi-platinum status, establishing the template for an entire decade of hedonistic mainstream hard rock.
