Album Notes & Community Reviews

This debut album perfectly encapsulates the fragile, romantic ethos of the late-eighties British indie pop scene. Brimming with chiming twelve-string guitars and bittersweet, poetic lyricism, the duo crafted a lush and melodic twee pop milestone. It stands as a definitive representation of the early Creation Records jangle pop sound before the label's aesthetic shift towards shoegaze.
