Album Notes & Community Reviews

Enlisting a high-profile team of producers including Jeff Lynne, Jacknife Lee, and Mike Elizondo, the anti-folk pianist significantly polished her idiosyncratic sound for her fifth album. The record features lush, orchestral pop arrangements that support her highly eccentric vocal tics and character-driven storytelling without losing her distinct charm. The album's accessible, radio-friendly approach successfully cemented her transition into a major alternative pop star.
