Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Nigerian superstar dramatically evolves his sound, shifting away from breezy pop into an incredibly energetic, heavily percussive fusion of Afrobeats and fast-paced electronic dance music. Incorporating the relentless thud of Batida and the intricate rhythms of Amapiano, the record cultivates a surprisingly dark, wildly eclectic party atmosphere. 'HEIS' is a fiercely repetitive, brilliantly forward-thinking club album.
