Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'The Melancholy We Ache', the band delivers a sound rooted in the metallic hardcore of the late 1990s and early 2000s, combining the raw energy of hardcore with melodic guitar leads and heavy, chugging breakdowns. The album's well-constructed songs fuse aggression with an emotional and often hopeful lyrical perspective, a combination that was considered a significant and established-sounding debut within the UK hardcore scene.
