Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as the final chapter of their gritty, 1970s hard rock era before ascending to stratospheric pop-rock stardom, 'Nine Lives' is a muscular, riff-heavy affair. Driven by Gary Richrath's searing lead guitar work, the record relies on driving boogie rhythms and unabashedly hedonistic themes. It captures a tireless touring band right at the precipice of massive mainstream crossover.
