Album Notes & Community Reviews

Respire's debut full-length, 'Gravity and Grace', is a sprawling and ambitious work that defies easy categorization. The Canadian six-piece combines elements of screamo, post-rock, and black metal, augmented by a small orchestra, to create a sound that is both visceral and enormous in scale. The album explores themes of despair and hope, balancing bleak, thunderous moments with beautiful, atmospheric passages.
