Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their fourth album 'Hiraeth', Canadian collective Respire deliver a furious and intricate witness to a world in turmoil. The album continues to blend their signature mix of screamo, blackgaze, and chamber music, creating a sound that is both chaotic and beautiful. 'Hiraeth' confronts themes of generational trauma and longing with a raw, desperate energy, resulting in a complex and deeply moving, albeit challenging, listening experience.
