Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded shortly after their controversial conversion to Sufi Islam, Richard and Linda Thompson delivered a breathtakingly austere, profoundly deeply spiritual masterpiece of British folk. 'Pour Down Like Silver' is an incredibly sombre, remarkably beautiful acoustic triumph, matching fiercely precise, highly melodic guitar work with wonderfully melancholic, bittersweet reflections on faith and devotion.
