The second album by Atlanta electronic producer Richard Devine, 'Lipswitch' fractures IDM into glitch heavy, digitally manipulated rhythms of extreme complexity, built with software including SuperCollider and Max/MSP. Devine became a leading sound designer as well as a recording artist, and the record is a key document of American experimental electronic music of the period.
