Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing his profoundly minimalist approach to experimental songwriting, the Scottish artist's Jagjaguwar debut is a masterclass in deeply haunting folk minimalism. The album relies almost entirely on hypnotic, repetitive acoustic guitar patterns and his soaring, starkly unaccompanied vocal delivery to create an incredibly desolate sonic space.
