Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing his reign as the architect of 'punk-funk', Rick James delivers an impeccably produced, synthesizer-heavy R&B classic. 'Cold Blooded' features the massive, heavily sampled title track, showcasing his signature blend of boastful, sexually charged lyricism and slinky, slow-burning funk grooves. It was his final undisputed commercial masterpiece of the decade before personal struggles derailed his career.
