Journey to the Centre of the Earth

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded live at the Royal Festival Hall, this incredibly ambitious rock adaptation of Jules Verne's novel features the London Symphony Orchestra and the English Chamber Choir. Narration by David Hemmings guides the listener through Wakeman's dense, synthesizer-heavy compositions, resulting in a massively successful, bombastic example of symphonic rock.
