Piano Vibrations

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Contractually obligated and largely disowned by the artist, 'Piano Vibrations' is the technical solo debut of keyboard wizard Rick Wakeman, released just before he joined Yes[cite: 1]. The album features Wakeman playing straightforward, lounge-style piano covers of contemporary pop hits, backed by session musicians and a vocal chorus[cite: 1]. While devoid of his trademark progressive bombast, it remains a curious footnote in the virtuoso's legendary career[cite: 1].
