The flamboyantly virtuosic keyboardist returns to his roots with an entirely instrumental conceptual project loosely themed around famous criminality. Noticeably absent of the bloated orchestral and choral arrangements of his earlier solo mega-hits, the album features an incredibly muscular, agile rhythm section composed of his Yes bandmates Chris Squire and Alan White.
