Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stripping her arrangements back to incredibly sparse acoustic bass and nylon-string guitar, the celebrated songwriter reimagines an eclectic selection of jazz standards, Tin Pan Alley classics, and acoustic covers. 'Pop Pop' highlights the idiosyncrasies of Jones's intimate, slurred vocal phrasing within a remarkably hushed, introspective acoustic jazz environment.
