Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving after a highly publicized domestic assault, this fourth studio album represents a massive, intensely dark thematic pivot for the pop star. The production, handled by Chase & Status, Stargate, and Ne-Yo, incorporates heavy dubstep wobble, industrial rock guitars, and brooding synthesizer soundscapes. It fundamentally shifted her public persona from a Caribbean dance-pop singer to an edgy, provocative icon.
