Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving unfortunately as the Los Angeles quartet's final studio album before their disbandment, the project marked a controversial shift toward highly polished, disco-inflected pop music. Jenny Lewis's razor-sharp, cynical lyricism regarding the seedy underbelly of Hollywood sex and fame creates a fascinating contrast against the sleek, radio-friendly production.
