Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by the legendary Arif Mardin, 'Ringo the 4th' marks the former Beatle's ill-fated attempt to integrate contemporary disco and sophisticated R&B into his sound. The sessions heavily emphasize sleek backing vocals, synthesizer basslines, and polished pop-rock arrangements. Despite high production values, the album was a critical and commercial failure, signaling a sharp decline in his solo career during the late 70s.
