Album Notes & Community Reviews

Riot sharpened its early hard rock foundation into a faster and more aggressive heavy metal sound on 'Fire Down Under'. The album is commonly treated as a key bridge between late-1970s American hard rock and the speed-driven metal styles that followed, with Mark Reale's guitar work and Guy Speranza's vocals defining the band's classic lineup.
