Often cited as a crucial precursor to the speed and power metal movements, the New York band's second album is a masterclass in high-energy, twin-guitar riffing. The blistering tempos and muscular vocals of Guy Speranza perfectly bridged the gap between 70s hard rock swagger and the incoming assault of the NWOBHM. Originally released only in Japan before securing wider distribution, it remains a heavily revered cult classic among traditional metal purists.
