Bursting out of Brooklyn, this debut establishes the blueprint for American heavy metal with a blazing, high-energy blend of hard rock swagger and frantic, proto-speed metal riffing. Masterminded by guitarist Mark Reale, the album largely flew under the commercial radar upon release but slowly garnered a ferocious cult following overseas. It is retroactively viewed as a crucial, pioneering link between 1970s hard rock and the incoming New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
