Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their third and final studio effort before disbanding, the deeply eccentric British collective continued their wildly unpredictable fusion of jagged post-punk and avant-garde jazz. 'Attitude' is characterized by clattering, polyrhythmic funk grooves, blaring brass sections, and Neneh Cherry's wildly improvisational, elastic vocal performances. The incredibly chaotic, fiercely uncommercial energy of the recording perfectly encapsulated the chaotic, genre-fluid spirit of the Bristol underground scene.
