Howl

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ryan Lee West's 'Howl' was built around a process of self-sampling, using recordings of his own voice, guitar, and synthesizers as the primary sound sources. These organic elements were then heavily processed and arranged into dynamic electronic compositions that range from ambient meditations to intense, rhythmically complex pieces. The album demonstrates a more personal and expressive approach to techno and IDM, highlighting West's distinctive sound-crafting techniques.
