Originally composed as a score for a contemporary dance production by choreographer Alexander Whitley, Ryan Lee West's 'Overflow' explores themes of data saturation and modern technological anxiety. The album features incredibly intricate, pulsing IDM rhythms and sweeping analog synthesizers, resulting in a dark, highly kinetic progressive electronic experience. The project serves as an immersive, conceptually dense piece of forward-thinking club abstraction.
