Album Notes & Community Reviews

The BTS frontman wildly subverts expectations on his solo release, entirely abandoning glossy pop for a remarkably mellow, deeply atmospheric exploration of neo-soul and experimental hip-hop. Exploring incredibly eclectic production that frequently drifts into neo-psychedelia and jazz rap, the lyrical focus remains profoundly introspective and distinctly bittersweet. It is a highly progressive, beautifully calm artistic statement from the global superstar.
