Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Chicago-based cornetist expanded his Exploding Star Orchestra arrangements into a fiercely dynamic octet for this sprawling release. Marrying free-jazz dissonance with heavy electronic textures and driving fusion rhythms, the record is a dizzying, highly structured showcase of modern avant-garde large-ensemble playing.
