Songs to Play

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following a seven-year period spent largely working as a music critic, the Go-Betweens co-founder returns with an incredibly sharp, vibrant collection of original material. 'Songs to Play' features his signature, highly literate lyricism over beautifully arranged, understated acoustic guitars and subtle horn accompaniments. The record is a wonderfully sophisticated, warmly produced, and deeply engaging entry into his solo catalog.
