Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written and recorded following his wife and musical collaborator Karin B盲umler's ovarian cancer diagnosis, 'The Candle and the Flame' is an incredibly tender and family-oriented project. The Go-Betweens co-founder utilizes gentle acoustic instrumentation, heavily featuring backing vocals and strings performed by his wife and children. The album stands as a profoundly poetic, life-affirming meditation on love and enduring resilience.
