Album Notes & Community Reviews

Backed by the blistering guitar work of British virtuoso Chris Spedding, 'Rock Billy Boogie' is a ferocious, high-octane celebration of authentic 1950s rock and roll. Robert Gordon completely bypasses punk and new wave trends, delivering deep, booming baritone vocals on a stellar collection of retro stompers and ballads. The album remains a critical catalyst for the widespread neo-rockabilly revival of the ensuing decade.
