Album Notes & Community Reviews
Robert Palmer's 'Clues' introduced a sharper new wave and synthpop edge to his already eclectic solo style. The album includes collaborations with Gary Numan and uses clipped electronics, rhythmic angularity, and concise pop structures to update Palmer's blue-eyed soul and rock background.
