Album Notes & Community Reviews

Embracing a sharper, more aggressive rock edge, 'Secrets' finds Robert Palmer heavily integrating power-pop and new wave sensibilities into his sophisticated soul foundations. The album is anchored by his massive, guitar-heavy cover of Moon Martin's 'Bad Case of Loving You', which secured his status as a formidable mainstream rock presence. The project masterfully balances his suave R&B vocal delivery with hard-hitting, radio-friendly instrumentation.
