Album Notes & Community Reviews
For his second solo effort post-Led Zeppelin, the legendary frontman leaned into polished, contemporary production and atmospheric new wave textures. The album crucially features drumming contributions from Phil Collins alongside Robbie Blunt's shimmering, delayed guitar work. The smash hit 'Big Log' solidified Plant's viability as a mainstream solo artist deeply attuned to the sonic trends of the 1980s.
