Album Notes & Community Reviews
Moving away from his typically beatless sleep concerts, the Californian electronic pioneer deeply immerses himself in Middle Eastern and North African traditions. The album intricately weaves synthetic ambient soundscapes with complex hand percussion, mournful cello, and evocative flutes, creating a distinctly warm, rhythmic desert atmosphere.
