Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released on the legendary German OHR label, Italian composer Roberto Cacciapaglia's 'Sonanze' is an ambitious, deeply avant-garde intersection of early ambient electronic music and contemporary classical structures. Utilizing early synthesizers, treated vocals, and orchestral instrumentation, the album pioneers a glacial, meditative sonic minimalism that predates much of the subsequent ambient movement.
