Album Notes & Community Reviews

Temporarily estranged from the Bee Gees, the distinctive vocalist delivered a staggeringly melancholic, densely orchestrated solo debut. Driven heavily by primitive drum machines and massive symphonic swells, the intensely dramatic tracks highlight his signature quivering vibrato and themes of profound heartbreak. The release is widely regarded as an eccentric, deeply beautiful masterpiece of British baroque pop.
