Album Notes & Community Reviews
Robyn Hitchcock's first solo album after the Soft Boys placed his surreal lyric writing in a looser, more intimate studio setting. 'Black Snake Diamond R枚le' retains the melodic psychedelia of his earlier band while pointing toward the eccentric singer-songwriter voice that shaped his later catalog.
