Album Notes & Community Reviews

Signifying a massive career transition, 'Atlantic Crossing' finds Rod Stewart relocating to America and abandoning his ramshackle roots-rock sound for slick, Muscle Shoals-style pop and blue-eyed soul. Famously divided into a 'fast half' and a 'slow half,' the album yielded the massive, enduring acoustic ballad 'Sailing'.
