Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his massively successful embrace of disco and new wave trends, the raspy-voiced rock icon pivots toward incredibly slick, synthesizer-laced adult-contemporary pop. 'Body Wishes' is anchored by the global hit single 'Baby Jane', heavily featuring the glossy, commercial production values characteristic of early 1980s AOR. The album was a massive success in Europe, although it met with harsh critical resistance.
