Album Notes & Community Reviews

A deeply autobiographical concept album, 'The Houston Kid' chronicles the songwriter's turbulent upbringing in 1950s Texas. The record is a stunningly poetic, highly melodic slice of roots-oriented Americana, characterized by unflinching introspection and bittersweet nostalgia.
