Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut solo album from the pioneering synthesizer virtuoso serves as an ambitious showcase for the capabilities of the massive ARP 2500 modular system. Predating his famous tenure with Todd Rundgren's Utopia, Powell constructs dense, futuristic electronic soundscapes that frequently cross over into complex, symphonic jazz-rock fusion. The fully instrumental record remains a foundational, highly respected document in the development of American progressive electronic music.
