Album Notes & Community Reviews
Staged in the vacant terrain between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate just months after the fall of the Berlin Wall, this monumental charity concert was one of the largest in history. Featuring an eclectic cast of guest vocalists and actors, the performance dramatically reinterpreted the iconic rock opera in a uniquely historic setting. It stands as a profound collision of theatrical stadium rock and global geopolitical shifts.
