Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut solo album by Irish singer R贸is铆n Murphy, formerly of Moloko, was produced entirely by electronic musician Matthew Herbert. The record is an avant-garde pop statement, using sounds recorded from everyday objects and actions as its rhythmic and textural foundation. 'Ruby Blue' is celebrated for its playful experimentalism, combining jazz, microhouse, and pop with Murphy's distinctive vocal performance.
