Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Minor Threat's Ian MacKaye, this searing full-length debut firmly distanced the intense frontman from the legacy of Black Flag. The music pairs bruising, muscular rhythms with intensely personal, fiercely uncompromising spoken-word rants, setting the aggressive standard for nineties post-hardcore.
