Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking Henry Rollins's commercial breakthrough, this relentlessly intense album fuses the crushing weight of alternative metal with the raw, psychological fury of post-hardcore. The extended, fiercely rhythmic compositions provide a punishing backdrop for Rollins's spoken-word verses and throat-tearing roars about emotional endurance and existential alienation.
