Jerome Reuter's prolific neofolk project delivers an incredibly ambitious, sweeping concept album set against the tragic backdrop of the Rhodesian Bush War in the 1970s. Utilizing acoustic guitars, prominent martial percussion, and chilling spoken-word interludes, the record explores themes of dying colonialism and violent civil collapse. It remains one of the most conceptually focused and emotionally resonant releases in his extensive catalog.
