Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed S茫o Paulo singer-songwriter completely deconstructs the traditional, romantic aesthetic of Brazilian bossa nova into something profoundly dark and highly experimental. 'Barulho feio' utilizes remarkably lethargic, heavily dissonant acoustic guitar chords and incredibly sparse, almost spoken-word vocal deliveries, set against a deeply unsettling, dark ambient backdrop. It serves as a brilliantly poetic, intensely sombre, and remarkably abstract auditory experience.
