Album Notes & Community Reviews

Facing immense expectations following their Mercury Prize-winning debut, the Bristol collective returns with a heavier, more aggressive sophomore album. 'In the M酶de' largely abandons the acoustic jazz-step of 'New Forms', opting instead for frantic, highly synthetic jump-up drum and bass rhythms. Bolstered by guest appearances from Method Man and Zack de la Rocha, it is a distinctly muscular, club-focused effort.
